Mark has overseen the development and implementation of the digital transformation of workforce, clinical and business services over the last 15 years. He is a chartered IT professional and graduate of the NHS Leadership Academy and Digital Health Leadership at Imperial College London. Mark is also senior responsible officer for the patient access to health and social care shared records in Berkshire and a member of the Thames Valley & Surrey Shared Record programme board.
He is a firm believer that the key to successfully exploiting the potentials of digital healthcare is to ensure that it is easy-to-use, enables useful sharing of clinical records between healthcare professionals, provides insight to support new clinical interventions and is implemented as part of a cultural, organisational development and transformational change programme. Mark’s goal is to provide high quality, innovative healthcare using digital technologies that improve the daily lives of our staff and patients.
