Lucy is currently a heart function team leader. She has worked in all areas of cardiology since 1992 but soon realised her passion was in heart failure nursing and began working as a heart failure nurse in 2007. Lucy worked in various positions in the UK and Australia looking after the Aboriginal community. She is a founding committee member on the heart failure nurses forum for the Heart Failure Society and co-wrote the national heart failure nurse competencies which are now used nationwide. Lucy has published numerous articles about these and also cardiac rehab for heart failure patients.
